Vonelle - I would say that it depends. There are some high calorie ones that you should count as a FIG. Personally, I think that ones like the Fiber Plus bars are okay.
Also....cooking with a little bit of oil is fine. Just limit the amount that you use. We're just trying to avoid things like french fries.
